Description
English: Cereals 2008, Skylark Plots Farming fortunes are now firmly tied in with environmental concerns. On the Velcourt Farming Company display the RSPB were showing how to manage Skylark plots within an arable field. Leaving small undrilled areas across a field will promote Skylark recovery over a number of years. This type of environmental scheme is formalised into a binding agreement with strict management rules and severe financial penalties for non compliance. However if done correctly the farmer will receive his monetary entitlement.
