Description

This is the only one of the four specimens that had an epithelial abnormality. Is it dysplasia or atypical squamous metaplasia? I couldn't find any mitoses, but the cells are just a bit too disorganized to let it go.

Going back to look at the SurePath, as usual, didn't help with the decision. SurePaths seem to always look more benign than the biopsy. I have no idea how SurePath ever got past the FDA. Probably the same way Vioxx did. ;)

So, at this time, I'm at the end of my rope... or AM I??
