Description
English: Château-Renard - cellars in limestone, in Avenue du Chemin Blanc

These cellars have been dug into the limestone. Some have multiple tunnels and rooms, some of which are big enough to hold a full-size combi-harvester in them. They are excellent for keeping wine, as their temperature is cool and constant all year round. In the fifties, the owner of one of those caves wanted to have another chamber dug. The workers, upon starting their work, broke into a hidden chamber that contained pear and apple spirits and wine from 1870, clearly hidden there for a stash-away because of the war.
