Description

Chaillac (Indre).

L'Anglin, près du Moulin de Seillant.

L'Anglin prend sa source vers Azerables dans la Creuse, et se jette dans la Gartempe après Angles-sur-l'Anglin dans la Vienne.

C'est à Seillant que la pente de l'Anglin est maximale, d'où son aspect torrentiel.

La roche, gneiss et granit, affleure en gros blocs.

Les crues de l'Anglin peuvent être catastrophiques: le 2 juin 2016 à Mauvilliers, 40 vaches, sur un troupeau de 90 têtes, ont été emportées par les eaux de l'Anglin en crue. Certaines vaches ont été récupérée 6 km en aval.
