Description
English: Offered for sale in December 2019 by Abbott and Holder, when it was described as "LANDELLS Ebenezer (1808-1860) ‘Changing the Escort at Abourfield (sic Arborfield)’, Berkshire. Pencil study for the engraving in The Illustrated London News’ (25.1.1845) of Queen Victoria being greeted outside ‘The Bull’ when driving from Windsor to Stratfield Saye to visit the Duke of Wellington on 20th January, 1845. Provenance: Album of Landells’ studies. 6.75x9.75 inches."
