English: The Chantecler Cafeteria was open from 1924 to 1926, located at the corner of University and Third Avenue, with entrances at both 311 University Street and 1212 Third Avenue.
This large peach colored card decorated with a rooster lists a sampling of menu items available at the Chantecler, including a choice of cold sandwiches for 12 cents, and a "Business Men's Lunch" from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for 30 cents."
