ไทย: จิตรกรรมเรื่องโคลงภาพพระราชพงศาวดาร รูปที่ 57 แผ่นดินพระเจ้าท้ายสระ "ภาพช้างทรงพระมหาอุปราชแทงช้างพระที่นั่ง" ฝีพระหัตถ์ของสมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้ากรมพระยานริศรานุวัติวงศ์ โคลงประกอบภาพนี้เป็นบทพระนิพนธ์ของพระองค์เอง ทรงวาดและทรงพระนิพนธ์โคลงประกอบภาพนี้เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2430

ในภาพดังกล่าวเล่าเรื่องช้างทรงของพระมหาอุปราชเจ้าฟ้าพร กรมพระราชวังบวรสถานมงคล (ภายหลังคือสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวบรมโกศ) เกิดแทงช้างพระทึ่นั่งของสมเด็จพระที่นั่งท้ายสระ ผู้เป็นพระเชษฐาของพระองค์ ด้วยอุบัติเหตุท่ามกลางความมืด ระหว่างการคล้องช้างที่แขวงเมืองนครนายก เมื่อปีเถาะจุลศักราช 1085 พุทธศักราช 2266 ครั้งนั้นสมเด็จพระที่นั่งท้ายสระพระราชทานอภัยโทษแก่พระมหาอุปราช ด้วยทรงเชื่อว่าเป็นอุบัติเหตุจริง และพระมหาอุปราชก็ถวายสัตย์ยืนยันว่ามิได้มีเจตนาจะแกล้งให้เกิดเหตุร้ายดังกล่าวขึ้นแต่อย่างใด

อนึ่ง ในวารสารศิลปากร ปีที่ 15 เล่ม 2 กรกฏาคม พ.ศ. 2514 ได้ลงข้อมูลไว้คลาดเคลื่อนว่า เป็นภาพจิตรกรรมเรื่องโคลงภาพพระราชพงศาวดาร รูปที่ 55 แผ่นดินพระเจ้าเสือ "ภาพเสด็จทรงช้างข้ามบึงหูกวาง" ซึ่งทั้งภาพและโคลงประกอบภาพดังกล่าว ก็เป็นผลงานพระนิพนธ์ของสมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้ากรมพระยานริศรานุวัติวงศ์เช่นกัน
