Description
English: Charabanc to Hutton-le-Hole The old bus struggles up the road towards Hutton-le-Hole. Gordon Hatton tells me that the bus is the 1947 Leyland Tiger 33 seat coach owned since new by Smiths of Thirsk, and still doing good service following a complete overhaul and retrimming of the interior. The coach does regular summer runs between Thirsk and the Moors and is well capable of tackling Sutton Bank's 25% gradient - admittedly in crawler gear after much double declutching! The bus is also popular for local weddings.
