Description
English: Louis Adolphe Salmon's engraving reproduces Andrea del Sarto's "Charity" which was produced for Francis I of France and completed around 1518. Salmon regularly engraved after Sarto, Ingres, and other artists. Salmon completed this plate in 1863.
