Barraud, Charles Decimus 1822-1897 :[Rangihaeta New Zealand Maori chief who killed Captn. Wakefield at the Wairau massacre, June 1843. Painted in] 1864 Reference Number: B-004-020 Similar to B-004-021. Shows Rangihaeata standing with mere (probably Te Heketua), feather cloak, and long cloak with decorated hem. His face has the moko, and the background contains a flax bush at the right.
