Texas State Historical Survey Committee George W. Hill, Executive Director 112 East 18th Street Austin, Texas Gentlemen: Permission is hereby granted to the State of Texas to erect a monument in Gettysburg National Military Park at or near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania as a memorial to Texans who participated in the Battle of Gettysburg in the Civil War. It is understood that the monument is to be in accordance with the attached drawing and erected at the site indicated on the attached map. The State of Texas, through its monument contractual firm, is hereby granted egress and ingress to the above location in order to erect the monument, with the understanding that such firm will initially contact, cooperate and coordinate all work with the following responsible authority: Superintendent, Gettysburg National Military Park I certify that I am authorized to execute this permit in behalf of National Park Service.
