Hand-written note affixed to back of panelː "Sold at Christie's 1941?" Fine Arts Society Ltd, London label affixed to back, dated March 1973 denotes "Collectionː Brian Thomas, OBE." Undated Sotheby's sticker with bar code affixed to back. Auctioned June 4, 2022, at Quinn's Auction Galleries, Falls Church, VA, from the collection of Nicholas R. Burke (1942-2107), Washington D.C. (Washington Post obituary, May 16, 2017). Now in a private collection.
