Description	L’église Saint-Étienne. Il y eut au XIIème siècle, à Chaumont-sur-Tharonne, un monastère qui a été remplacé aux XVème et XVIème siècle par l’actuelle église Saint-Etienne. Le clocher culmine à 37 mètres. La flèche a été entièrement restauré en 1853 par Jules de la Morandière. De 2000 à 2008, des travaux d’envergure ont permis la restauration de la chapelle nord, du clocher et de l’ensemble restant de l’édifice. Des travaux à l’intérieur ont mis au jour des peintures murales datant des XVème et XVIème siècles. Jules Édouard Potier de la Morandière : architecte français né à Blois le 12 mai 1813 et mort le 16 août 1905 à Chambon-sur-Cisse.Il a restauré de nombreux châteaux, comme celui de Chaumont.Il a édifié la halle aux grains de Blois (1949). The tower rises 37 meters. The spire was completely restored in 1853 by Jules of Morandière . From 2000 to 2008, any major work have led to the restoration of the north chapel, the bell tower and the entire rest of the building. Work inside have brought to light wall paintings dating from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Jules Edward Potter Morandière: French architect born in Blois 12 May 1813 and died 16 August 1905 in Chambon-sur-Cisse.Il restored many castles, such as Chaumont. He built the Halle aux Grains of Blois (1949)
