Description The Cherokee Interceptor collects drainage from a portion of the Kansas Hillside and begins at the upper end of Cherokee Street, passes beneath Southwest Boulevard and four Burlington Northern Santa Fe tracks before discharging into Turkey Creek. Construction of this feature was completed in September of 2013. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Scott P. Mensing on March 26, 2014.
