English: Chester's City Walls - Grosvenor Road to Bridgegate #8 Part way along this straight section of the city walls the full size of County Hall becomes obvious. Begun before the Second World War the building was not completed until the 1950s. To the left are some functional buildings associated with the War Department's previous use of the site - 369527 . The next photo in this series is taken where the walls turn right.
