Summary edit

Description
English: Looking north along the Chester Road in Hazel Grove, Stockport. The bridge carries the former Midland Railway 'Disley Cut Off', although it only carries freight trains nowadays. It linked New MIlls (to the right) with Cheadle. Where the road rises in the distance is another bridge, this time taking the road over the former London and North Western Railway line which is still used by many passenger trains, both to New Mills and to Buxton. Today's Hazel Grove station is to the left of that bridge.
