Description
Español: El Colegio Comewealth School fue fundado en 1962, en la ciudad de Chillán, y terminó sus funciones en 2021, durante la Pandemia de Covid-19. Existió por mucho tiempo en calle Dieciocho de Septiembre 848, y posteriormente, se trasladó a un costado de la Villa Creación y el Cementerio Parque Chillán.

De acuerdo al Diario La Discusión del 8 de noviembre de 2019, en pleno Estallido Social, informó: "La Superintendencia de Educación de la región de Ñuble aplicó la revocación del reconocimiento oficial para el año 2020 a los establecimientos Comewealth School y Anexo de Chillán, y la inhabilidad a perpetuidad del sostenedor. La medida aplicada, en primera instancia por la Superintendencia, se debe a que los establecimientos incurrieron en infracciones graves que pusieron en riesgo el normal funcionamiento del servicio educativo, en este caso, el no pago de remuneraciones y cotizaciones previsionales de manera reiterada y generalizada, situación que perjudicó la labor de docentes y asistentes de la educación”
