Bæger sølv

h.: 11,4 cm, randdia.: 10,2 cm, standdia.: 7,5 cm

Retvægget let udadskrånende sølvbæger, glat bånd foroven, ellers punslet korpus. Foran indslået nu oval indhameret sølvmønt / speciedaler (4,2 x 3,4 cm) med det danske, norske og svenske våben samt omskriften "COM LL(?) DELM DVX SL HO ST DI"

Under bunden 4 sølvmærker: 1. tre tårne (= Københavns byvåben), derunder 1702 2. CL / MW i cirkel - Københavns stadsguardein Conrad Ludolph (1679-1729) 3. månedsmærke, vægtens tegn 23.09.-23.10. 4. CS / 700 i oval - sølvsmed Christian Schrader (ca. 1662-1739), borgerskab i København 1701 (jvf. C.A. Bøje nr. 291)

Datering: 1702

Gave til Roskilde byråd iflg. gavebrev af 20.01.1970. Denne samling fra giver kom sammen med en tilsvarende erhvervelse jvf. gavebrev af 29.10.1970 til at udgøre starten på Palæsamlingerne.

Genstandene stammer fra givers tiptipoldefar storkøbmand Peder Kornerups hjem, Stændertorvet 2,

Roskilde. Peder Kornerup (1725-82) var gift 1. gang med Sophie Bruun (1731-56), 2. gang med Kirstine Abel (1739-1801), i sidstnævnte ægteskab 12 sønner og 5 døtre.
