English: Christian Streit Grave at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, VA.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 09000163.

"Christian Streit was born on June 7, 1749, in New Jersey. He was the grandson of Swiss immigrants who came to New York. He graduated from the Academy and College in Philadelphia and took theological home study with Henry M. Muhlenberg and Provost Wrangel. He was ordained in 1770 and served with the 8th Virginia Regiment from 1776 to 1777. Streit took on the pastorate of Winchester in July 1785 serving Winchester, Strasburg, and Woodstock, VA.
