English: Offered for sale in July 2021 by Abbott and Holder, when it was described as "Bathers, South of France (traditionally titled 'Nice'). Pencil. Probably 1927. Signed with initials? Provenance: Mrs Dalzeil Smith, the artist's sister; Stanhope Shelton, from who acquired by the previous owner's parents in 1975. 12x7.5 inches."
