Русский: Покров на Нерли — четырёхстолпный, трёхапсидный, одноглавый храм, построенный из белого камня высочайшего качества (кладка весьма однородна, в ней практически отсутствует желтоватый оттенок, пористость блоков очень низка). В сводах для их облегчения применён туфообразный известняк.
Храм стоит на уникальном фундаменте, состоящем из восьми рядов качественного гладкотёсаного белого камня (в целом около 4 метров глубиной), базирующихся на обычной для суздальского зодчества бутовой основе, почти квадратной в разрезе (глубиной около 2 метров). Дата постройки — 1165 год — оспаривается многими исследователями. |
