SummaryEdit
Description |
The Church of the Redeemer (Episcopal) at 561 Pacific Street on the corner of 4th Avenue at the convergence of the Boerum Hill and Prospect Heights neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York City, was built in 1866 and was designed by Patrick C. Keely in the Gothic revival style. The congregation dates from 1853, and this church was their second building. Because of declining enrollment and structural problems with the building, it was closed in 2012, and plans were announced to build a new church incorporating retail or residences.
