Description

Churg-Strauss Syndrome is a rare systemic vasculitis that is usually accompanied by peripheral eosinophilia and asthma.

In the center of this image there is a blood vessel exhibiting fibrinoid necrosis. It is surrounded by a dense mixed inflammatory infiltrate containing a large number of eosinphiles.
