Description

The neighbouring triads forming the circle of fifths compressed in a 6×4 table

Like in other files in this set (e.g. File:Circle of fifths unrolled, minimal.svg) the ♭ are below the ♯. So the rows are to be read from bottom to top.

When each row is started one tone after the last, the whole circle of fifths can be played within an interval of 21 semitones (i.e. an octave and a minor sixth).
Its distinctive points are from the group of three black keys: It starts with the right one (B♭), the middle one (A♭/G♯) is in its center, and it ends with the left one (F♯).
