I believe this car was assembled in Slough. It had a notice in a window with various details and the assembly location was one of them.

Another tell-tale sign is the chrome plated grille with the Citroën chevrons behind the grill. I gather that the French and Belgian built cars had the chevrons in front of the grille. Also the British cars appear to have been delivered with a straight-line front bumper that looked as if it had been lifted off something else. However, the car was offered for sale for a long time, and there were plenty of little changes along the way. And nothing on Planet Citroën was ever entirely simple (at least before a certain ruthless bean-counter logic began to take hold under Peugeot control). So maybe the issue of the grille and bumper differences is not quite as simple as it seems either.
