A view from the intersection of Diamond Street and Ross Street looking east toward Fisher Scientific taken from the roof of a building near the Allegheny County Jail and the Allegheny County Morgue. The Allegheny County Morgue, weighing in at 6,000 tons was physically moved by the Kress-Oravetz House Moving Company 32 feet to one side, back 267 feet, and lowered 15 feet from the location seen here to make room for the Allegheny County Office Building.
