Description
English: Clarendon House, Belfast Clarendon House (at the corner of Adelaide Street and Franklin Street) began life circa 1970 as the “Silopark” – a multi-storey car park using lifts instead of the now-predominant spiral system. It soon fell victim to an internal car bomb and lay derelict for many years before conversion to an office building. Planning permission has now been sought for a replacement block of eleven stories. The architect’s drawing shows something more pleasing to the eye.
