Another railtour, this time from St. Pancras to the Derbyshire dales on 1/10/1977, with motive power provided by three of the remaining class 44 "Peak" diesels. Unfortunately the weather was appalling and attempts at photography were lamentable. Here reproduced just for rarity value is 44 008 minus nameplates somewhere in the Eden Valley I think? Camera: Olympus Pen F Half Frame SLR. Film: Kodachrome. |
