DescriptionClassifications of PETase-like enzymes.jpg |
English: Figure A depicts a phylogenetic tree of the various PETase-like enzymes and showcases the type I class in blue and the type II in yellow and red. The blue star indicates the Ideonella sakaiensis derived PETase.
Figure B shows a comparison of the two subclasses of type II and type I PETase-like enzymes. Note the catalytic triad is conserved in all three forms of the PETase-like enzymes. |
