Description
English: Cliff Terrace, Hartlepool Headland Cliff Terrace is a great example of early Victorian architecture. During World War II the War Office requisitioned some of the houses here for use by army officers, while the main barracks was on Friarage Field behind the Heugh Gun Battery. The gates on the left are an entrance to Redheugh Gardens, site of the War Memorial.
