English: Clifftop pond overlooking West Bay There isn't a category for cliff-top ponds... not something you come across every day!
This is just off the cliff path between Eype and West Bay, just as the gradient starts going down hill. The area between the cliff and the path looks like it was once a quarry, so it is possible that this may not be a permanent pond, more of a very big puddle. Quite photogenic though. West Bay is just over the ridge, with its sheer orange cliffs just behind and Portland sticking it's nose in on the far horizon. |
