English: Clifton Suspension Bridge - west side The cables seem to rise from the depths of the earth, where they are anchored to sustain the colossal weight of the bridge. They reveal no signs of the forces which they bear. Nederlands: De Clifton hangbrug, westzijde. De kabels schijnen uit de diepte van de aarde op te rijzen, waar zij verankerd zijn om het kolossale gewicht van de brug te dragen. Van de enorme spanning waaronder de kabels staan, is niets te bespeuren. |
