editDescriptionClimbing out of Darwin Airport in a RAAF Lockheed C-130A Hercules.jpg |
English: Window View (looking past No 4 engine and the Stbd external fuel tank) from a 36 Squadron C-130A, airborne from Darwin Airport in 1977. Another C-130A is on the airfield below, with the RAAF Base and City of Darwin visible at rear. The flight from Darwin to Richmond (in the RAAF's First C-130) took 5.9 hours. No 3 Engine was shut down over NSW, and the aircraft was met by Firetrucks on arrival at Richmond. |
