English: Clouds about to pour over Erw y Ddafad ddu This aerial photo shows the structure of the land very clearly. Glaciers flowing north and south (right and left) have crept backwards, eroding the rock until only a narrow neck of land connects this sloping plateau with the ridge called Aran Benllyn to the north and Aran Fawddwy to the south.
Creiglyn Dyfi is the lake on the left. |
