English: Cnoc Mòr a' Ghrobain from the beach The cnoc is the highest point above the Coral Beaches. The beach sand is made of maerl, known locally as coral. On the edge of the beach erosion has revealed a layer of water-worn pebbles beneath the shallow sandy topsoil. |
