English: Cnocan Biorach If you start from Fassfern on Loch Eil and take a walk around Coire Chur, you won't go above 663m, but you get superb views to Nevis Range, Glencoe, Ardgour and Glenfinnan mountains. This view will be radically altered if huge commercial windfarms are erected on hills like this. This hill circuit is surprisingly pleasant underfoot, and if you keep to the inner rim on Beinn an t-Sneachda, you should spot this delightful collapsing crag. Great shelter too. There are extensive bare slabs the slide-plane on which this mass is creeping. |
