«В лазоревом поле с золотой оконечностью, выложенной в виде пчелиных сот и ограниченной сообразно их форме, — две золотые, с серебряными цветками, имеющими золотые сердцевины, и с зелёными листьями, ветви яблони накрест, сопровождённые во главе фигурой, образованной тремя серебряными иглами (две — накрест и одна, поверх них, в столб) с золотой нитью, продетой в ушки крайних игл и обвитой вокруг средней, а по сторонам и внизу — тремя золотыми, с серебряными крыльями, летящими вверх пчёлами.

В золотой вольной части со скруглённым внутренним углом — старинная зелёная княжеская шапка, отороченная чёрным собольим мехом, над которым — золотое украшение („городок“) с лазоревым самоцветным камнем. Щит увенчан муниципальной короной установленного образца».

Герб утверждён 28 февраля 2013 года решением Совета депутатов муниципального образования — Столпянское сельское поселение Старожиловского муниципального района Рязанской области от 28.02.2013 № 4 «Об утверждении символики муниципального образования — Столпянское сельское поселение Старожиловского муниципального района Рязанской области» и внесён в Государственный геральдический регистр Российской Федерации с присвоением регистрационного номера 8493.
