Description
Deutsch: Die Coburger Schmätzchen sind Honigplätzchen mit rund fünf Zentimeter Durchmesser, mit Stücken von Zitronat, Orangeat und Ölsamen. Seit 1904 sind sie durch die Konditorei Feyler als eingetragenes Warenzeichen geschützt. Sie werden hauptsächlich zur Weihnachtszeit gegessen. Goldschmätzchenhaben einen Überzug aus Schokolade und zur Veredelung noch ein Stückchen echtes Blattgold. Fotografier in der Auslage von Wilhelm Feyler Hoflieferant Bayer. English: The Coburger Schmätzchen are honey biscuits with a diameter of around five centimetres, with pieces of candied lemon peel, candied orange peel and oil seeds. They have been protected as a registered trademark by the Feyler confectionery since 1904. They are mainly eaten at Christmas time.
