Italiano: Servizio Reale, esemplare unico realizzato nel 1923, per Casa Savoia, di tipico gusto ottocentesco, in terraglia bianca, porta una decorazione a fascia in blu cobalto detto “blu Laveno” con filettatura in oro, recante la distintiva icona della corona del Regno d’Italia in policromia e oro. Il servizio venne offerto dalla Società Ceramica Italiana al Principe Ereditario in occasione dell’inaugurazione della prima Mostra Internazionale di Arte Decorativa, svoltasi alla Villa Reale di Monza. collezione Museo Internazionale Design Ceramico - Civica Raccolta di Terraglia, Laveno-Mombello (VA)
English: Royal Set (Servizio Reale), a unique specimen fabricated in 1923 exclusively for the Italian royal family Savoia and never transfered to serial production.
This precious white stoneware table service, typically 19th century styled, carries a stripe decoration colored cobalt blue, called “blu Laveno”, with a gold line and a golden-polychrome icon of the Kingdom of Italy crown. This service was offered by Società Ceramica Italiana to Italy’s crown prince on the inauguration of the first International Exhibition of Decorative Arts that was held at the Villa Reale in Monza. collection of International Ceramic Design Museum of Cerro di Laveno Mombello (varese, Italy) |
