Summary edit
DescriptionColobomycter skull diagram.png |
English: A color-coded skull diagram of Colobomycter pholeter, mostly based on a diagram published by MacDougall et al. (2017). Dotted lines indicate missing bone. All alveoli contain teeth in this diagram, while the actual animal replaces a few teeth at a time. Not featured in the legend are the septomaxilla (pale orange, inside the nares), the splenial (yellow, at the bottom of the jaw), and the articular (Bright fuschia, same color as the surangular, back of the jaw). |
