Title
English: Colonial Building, 1st and Seneca St., Seattle, circa 1903
Description
English:

This image shows the Colonial Building, also called Colonial Block, located at the southwest corner of First Avenue & Seneca Street in downtown Seattle. Designed in 1902 by Max Umbrecht, the building was one of several structures restored in the early 1980s for Waterfront Place, a mixed-use development. Confusingly, there is another building referred to as the Colonial Building, also called the Chapin Block, located at the northeast corner of Second Avenue and Columbia Street, which was built in 1888 and designed by Boone and Meeker. Both buildings are still standing in 2017.
