Description
  • Italiano: Milano, la cosiddetta "Colonna del Diavolo" accanto alla basilica di sant'Ambrogio. La superstizione ha attribuito i due fori presenti in questa colonna romana del sec. III (se ne vede uno in basso a destra) a una... cornata del diavolo. La colonna (di origine romana) veniva usata per l'investitura degli imperatori germanici
  • English: The so-called "Pillar of the Devil" beside Sant'Ambrogio basilica in Milan. Superstion has that the twin holes at the base of this 3rd century Roman pillar were personally punched with his horns by the Devil.
