English: This example application of image filters shows that after compression the main indicator (a peak at the start and the end of the histogram) for oversaturation and over/under exposure gets lost.
Deutsch: Diese Reihe von Bearbeitungen an einem Original (links) zeigt, das im Falle eine Über- oder Unterbelichtung (Mitte links) sich eine Spitze im Histogramm am unteren und oberen Ende des Histogramms bildet. Auch nach einer Korrektur (Mitte rechts) dieses Umfangs bleibt die Spitze, ein Ansammlung gleicher Farbtöne, erhalten und wäre nachweisbar. Jedoch ist nach einer Kompression (z.B. JPEG, rechts) davon im Histogramm kaum noch etwas ersichtlich, sodass es nicht mehr nachvollziehbar ist, ob eine Überbelichtung vorlag. |
