Description
English: Coloured Ryeland tup - a heid banger; Ashford Carbonell, Shropshire, Great Britain. A controversial beast: coloured Ryelands are largely developed from a batch of black lambs born here in the early 1980s. They are popular with some due to the lovely wool colouring, but hated by purists for whom Ryelands have to be white. As a result they are now almost considered a separate breed and have their own classes in shows. This black sheep of the family is a bit of a nutter and like any ram,not to be trusted. Perhaps one of the more aggressive farm animals that I have encountered (nicknamed "Psycho").
