Description
English: Another early flume deposited lumber at Borthwick's landing on the middle Columbia River a short distance west of Underwood, Washington and not far from the Broughton flume. Old-timers among river boat captains recall loading lumber on barges at this point. Photograph from Oregon Historical Society files, was taken in 1903 during fluming's heyday.
