English: Photograph taken in Columbus, Ohio c. 1897. "The building opened in 1853 as the Town Street First Methodist Episcopal Church. It was remodeled in 1891 and opened as the headquarters for the Columbus Public School Library on April 7, 1892. In the photos five people are sitting on the steps and a bicycle and a horse and buggy are curbside on the street. The building was demolished around 1928." |
