Description

An unidentified pitcher for the Columbus Clippers throws a pitch from the mound during the 1979 baseball season. That year the Clippers went 85-54 and won both the International League pennant and the Governor's Cup by defeating Tidewater 3-1 in the semifinals and Syracuse 4-3 in the championship. The Clippers were the AAA baseball affiliate team for the New York Yankees.
