Description
English: A Commonwealth Railways CB class railcar (Budd car) at Farina, South Australia, on 13 October 1957. The occasion was a special trip arranged by the South Australian Division of the Australian Railway Historical Society not long after the Port Augusta–Marree standard gauge line had reached Marree. The railcar was the second passenger train to use the standard-gauge line from Copley to Marree, the first being the special train for the official opening ceremony on 27 July 1957. The track at the bottom right is standard gauge, as are the two crossing loops / sidings visible beyond the railcar. The track from bottom left and in the station yard is narrow gauge.
