In picture: Puhoksen seurojentalo (Puhos Community House) Location: Puhos village at the town of Kitee, Finland. Puhos is the home of Finland's first steam-powered ship, Ilmarinen. Puhos houses most of Kitee's heavy industry (sawmill, glue factory, particle board factory...) and North Karelia University of Applied Sciences Rural Industries Education unit. Tuomas Holopainen and Tarja Turunen, who rose to fame with Nightwish, grew up in Puhos. |
