Description
English: Comparison between syllable-by-syllable v. word-by-word speech construction.

Two sets of recordings were made.
1. (see 1. in the picture above) The first one involved recording individual syllables of each word in a sentence. Then they were combined together to form a sentence. ‌ (listen)

2. The second set involved recordings of individual words separately and then the words were combined.
The second set has two subsets;
a) affirmative sentence ending with an affirmative intonation ‌ (listen)

b) interrogatory sentence with an interrogatory intonation ‌ (listen).
